I’ve always wished I could be the guy that said, “Yeah, I used to hate using ________________, so I decided to build it myself.” In January, 2021, the opportunity finally came when my wife and I were sitting at Sorso Wine Room in Scottsdale and asked each other, “Why don’t we just build our own happy hour app?”
2 weeks later, I was able to piece together a working prototype and got it up online.
This application was built on the MERN stack and allows designed parties (my wife and friends) to add their favorite happy hours from all over the country.
Over the course of the next year, I plan to update the software to run based on user location in the greater Phoenix, Tulsa, and New York City area.
